Ferro Alloys

Ferro Alloys, crucial for steelmaking, combine iron with elements like silicon and manganese to enhance steel's strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance, supporting varied industries like construction and automotive.

DESCRIPTION

Silicomanganese (SIMN)

Silico Manganese is used as a deoxidizer and an alloying element in steel. The standard grade Ferro Silico Manganese contains 14 to 16% of silicon

Ferro Manganese

Primarily, it is an alloy of manganese and iron, with high, medium, and low carbon content available.

Manganese improves the tensile strength, workability, toughness, hardness and resistance to abrasion. It also reacts with the remaining sulphur in the steel and thus prevents any tendency of hot shortness

Ferro Silicon Barium (Inoculant )

Inoculant is an additive in producing Cast Iron. With only a small amount of addition, it can significantly improve the microstructure of cast iron, thus improving the mechanical and physical properties of Gray Cast Iron.

Ferro Silicon magnesium (Nodulisers)

Ferro Silicon Magnesium Alloys are master alloys of magnesium silicides combined with the silicides of iron.

It is added to the molten iron to minimizes the embrittlement effect of graphite on the metal matrix with the result of producing cast iron with better machinability, toughness, and tensile properties.

Ferro Silicon

An alloy of silicon and iron. It has many applications in steel production and casting. It contributes an increase in hardness and deoxidizing properties but also with an improvement in strength and quality of iron steel products.
